Missing Bristol girl Julia, 13, found after police appeal shared 25,000 times

A Bristol girl who was reported missing on Sunday has been found safe and well, police said today (Tuesday, February 2)

Officers had launched an urgent public appeal to trace the girl called Julia, no surname was given.

The 13-year-old had been last seen at 12.30pm on Sunday (January 31) and people were urged to call 999 if they saw her.

But Julia was reported to have been found this lunchtime.

In a tweet, Avon and Somerset police said: "We’re pleased to confirm missing girl Julia has returned home safe.

"Our appeals were shared more than 25,000 times and a number of you also called in with information.

"We’re really grateful for all the support."
