Taniela Tupou will likely miss the rest of the Super Rugby Pacific season for the Queensland Reds and is in doubt for July's Wallabies Tests against England.

The powerhouse prop suffered a calf injury in Friday's loss to the Chiefs, with the Reds on Monday confirming a strain and lengthy stint on the sideline.

Tupou's absence for the Reds and potentially Australia will be damaging given his influence in the scrum and ball-running ability.
