Caleb Williams with rushing TD for Oklahoma on 4th-and-3

Oklahoma snapped out of its doldrums and scored 21 straight points to up 11 with about half of the final quarter remaining against Kansas on Saturday

Oklahoma faced a 4th-and-3 from the Kansas 40. Trying to draw the Jayhawks offside didn’t work so Lincoln Riley called a timeout.

Rather than send out the punt team, Riley went with the offense again.

Smart move.

Quarterback Caleb Williams kept the ball, broke a few arm tackles, and was off and running to the end zone.

Forty yards later, the magic was with the Sooners.

The Jayhawks refused to go away, scoring on their next possession but missing a 2-point conversion.

OU led 28-23 as time was running down.
