Caitlyn Jenner 'to be snubbed by Kardashian family in California Governor race'

Caitlyn Jenner is set to be snubbed by the Kardashians after announcing that she will be running to be Governor of California, it's claimed.

The 71-year-old reality star reportedly told her family on Friday that she would be campaigning to replace Gavin Newsom in office, as Caitlyn heads into the political arena for the first time.

She will be doing so without any public endorsements from sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, while daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner have not publicly commented on Caitlyn's decision.

TMZ has reported that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars will not be stumping up any cash for Caitlyn's campaign, despite Kim's new billionaire status and Khloe and Kourtney being worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Kim did not publicly support her now estranged husband Kanye West, when he ran for the Presidency in what turned out to be a chaotic campaign.

Caitlyn has been a staunch Republican over the years but the Kardhashian family were public with their congratulations to Joe Biden for beating Donald Trump in the Presidency race.

It has been reported that Caitlyn's political ideals do not fit well with the Kardashian family, which has led to them not to want to publicly support her.

While Kim had worked with Trump on prison reform but has never aligned herself with the conservative views of the Republican party or those shared by Kanye.

She also supported Hilary Clinton's campaign to be President in 2016.

One of the other issues that would make it hard for the sisters to support Caitlyn is the small matter of her divorce from momager Kris Jenner and they don't want to be caught in the middle of the two.

The good news for Caitlyn is that TMZ have reported that the family will not be using their incredible influence to support anyone else, so it won't give her a mountain to climb from that point of view.
