Caitlyn Jenner settles wrongful death lawsuit with family members of crash victim

The stepchildren of a woman who died in car crash involving Caitlyn Jenner have dismissed their suit against the former Paralympian athlete.

Jenner was being sued for wrongful death after the crash which killed Kim Howe, 69, in Malibu. Jenner’s SUV hit two cars during the collision, which sent a Lexus being driven by Ms Howe into oncoming traffic. Four others were injured, although Jenner did not sustain any injuries.

No criminal charges were ever brought against her and Jenner had rejected their claims for damages. Her lawyer confirmed the suit had been dismissed on Thursday, according to the Associated Press. No further information on the decision has been released.

Jenner released a statement at the time expressing her condolences to the family. Her statement said: “I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them.“
