Caitlyn Jenner 's long-time BFF Sophia Hutchins has ruled out the romance rumour entirely with an eyebrow-raising comment about sex.
From red carpets to sun-drenched holidays and dinner dates, the pair have been inseparable since striking up a connection in 2017.
Such close friends, Caitlyn, 71, soon moved Sophia, 25, into her Malibu mansion adding more fuel to the fire that the duo were lovers behind closed doors.
Now Sophia set the record straight when she said her bond with Caitlyn, who is transgender, was more like a "parental, familial relationship".
Cheekily the celebrity manager said there had been no sex in their relationship.
Instead, the PR guru insisted the former Olympic athlete treated her like a daughter while she has been working as her manager.
She told PEOPLE in a statement: "I don't want controversy. I am just trying to live my life. Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship. I feel so blessed and humbled to be a part of such an amazing family and that she treats me like a daughter.
"I feel blessed that we are able to work together.
"There's no hanky panky. I feel like I've been saying that for the past five years."
Sophia quashed the romance rumours after it was circulating online the pair had been "together for four years".
At first she wrote: "Fake news! Not a lesbian! F*** off."
Later she added: "Love the whole LGBT community but so tired of rumors that I am romantically with Caitlyn. I am only ever with men and only ever have been. Stop the rumors! It's been years."
Rumours started flying because Caitlyn and Sophia have been coy about the nature of their relationship in the past.
The reality star, who is running for California Governor, refused to get into the details of her relationship with Sophia but revealed they were "very close".
“We are not going to get into that,” Caitlyn told Variety in 2018. “But we are very close. We do a lot of things together. We’re kind of inseparable. We’re the best of friends.”
In May last year, Sophia said she put a lock on her bedroom door as Caitlyn barged in when she was in bed with a man.
Speaking on Heather McDonald's Juicy Scoop podcast, she said: "We had to put a lock on my door because Caitlyn decided to barge into my room while I had a friend over.
"She kind of saw a lot of things happening.
"It's kind of like living with your parents and I'm like oh, this might be a turning point where I might need to move out."
