Thursday sees Cage Warriors hold the first leg of its three-night, three-event run at the BEC Arena, with a pair of flyweight fights at the top of the card.
France’s reigning Cage Warriors 125-pound champion Samir Faiddine takes on English challenger Luke Shanks in the main event, while undefeated Jake Hadley takes on fellow contender Shajidul Haque in the co-main event.
The card also features a host of rising stars looking to make a statement and, during the unusual circumstances ahead of the fight, tempers started to fray.
Undefeated lightweights Oban Elliott and Michal Figlak were involved in a heated exchange as their paths crossed at the fighter hotel, then the heat continued onto the stage at the official weigh-ins.
