Rising MMA star Paddy McCorry says it will be a "dream" to make his pro debut under the lights at Falls Park.
McCorry takes on Petru Plesca for the middleweight belt at Cage Conflict 4 at the West Belfast outdoor venue.
Last week it was Michael Conlan who lit up the park with his impressive display against TJ Doheny to win the WBA interim featherweight world boxing title.
And on Thursday night McCorry will target similar glory in his own back yard.
"I can't wait. I would say it is a dream debut, but I can't comprehend getting this opportunity in the Falls Park," he told Belfast Live.
"I never thought there would be an MMA show in the Falls Park, so it is a dream come true.
"It is great to see MMA get the recognition it deserves."
He added: "I have done about three or four camps because a lot of my previous fights fell through at the last minute.
"I have also been working with the other Fight Academy Ireland lads who had world title fights on Cage Warriors."
After waiting so long to make his pro debut, McCorry insists is determined to make up for lost time.
And he says he is ready to make a statement on Thursday night at Cage Conflict 4.
"I can't comprehend what it will be like, with all my family and friends there. The atmosphere for the shows at the Devenish were mad, but this will be 10 times that," he said.
"I am ready to rise to the occasion and make a big statement.
"I feel the pro game will bring out the best in me, so I can't wait to get in there and show what I am capable of."
