Lucky 13
Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of midfielder Cafu from Olympiacos.
The 27-year-old becomes the Reds’ 13th addition of the summer transfer window, penning a season-long loan deal.
He makes the move from the fellow Evangelos Marinakis-owned outfit in Greece, with Tiago Silva having headed in the opposite direction on Saturday.
Fellow Portuguese Cafu only joined Olympiacos in February from Legia Warsaw and has made 11 appearances for the club.
Defender departs
Defender Yohan Benalouane has left Nottingham Forest, with his contract terminated by mutual consent.
And the 33-year-old has immediately put pen to paper with Greek club Aris.
Benalouane arrived from Leicester City in January 2019 and made a good impression initially, scoring the winner against Derby County.
However, he drifted out of the first team picture under Sabri Lamouchi after suffering a back injury.

Loan switch
Nottingham Forest forward Nuno Da Costa has completed an international transfer deadline day move to Belgium.
The 29-year-old has joined Royal Excel Mouscron on a season-long loan deal, with the club reportedly having an option to buy.
Da Costa only made the move to the City Ground in January, from Strasbourg, but has struggled to make an impact for the Reds.
He has largely been confined to a substitutes’ role during his time Trentside, with seven of his 13 appearances coming from off the bench.
Transfer twist
There has been a transfer deadline day twist to Nottingham Forest’s hopes of signing Kamil Grosicki.
The winger was said to be set to join fellow Evangelos Marinakis-owned club Olympiacos on a permanent transfer from West Bromwich Albion, before being loaned to the Reds.
But the man himself says he is now set to stay at The Hawthorns “for the moment”.
Grosicki has yet to feature for the Baggies in the Premier League this season, with his only game so far coming in a Carabao Cup victory over Harrogate Town.
