Dramatic pictures show a café smashed to pieces after a van crashed into it.
In the pictures a white van appears to be lodged in the front of the building, causing extensive damage to the building. A window is completely smashed, while debris of bricks and glass is strewn across the pavement.
Local resident Adam Birkinshaw-Bird said he became aware of the incident when he heard a loud crash. He said: "I didn't really see the accident, but I heard it from my house. I didn't realise what had happened until I saw people outside and went to see what was going on. I thought it might have been a skip lorry coming around the corner. By time I came out, the van had moved... and people were having a nose. There was broken glass and bits of wood scattered around, resulting in [me posting on Facebook] telling people to be careful. I came out around 10 minutes later and then the police arrived."
