Caernarfon Barclays bank building is set to go to auction

The Barclays bank building in Caernarfon is going to auction.

Situated in the centre of the historic town the building has Barclays signed up on a 20 year lease - which ends in 2028.

Last year the bank said Caernarfon was one of 100 UK branches ring-fenced with a pledge they would remain open until at least October 2021.

Barclays currently pays £11,700 a year to lease the ground floor of the site on Bangor Street.

The site will go to auction with Strettons Auctions on April 7 at 12pm at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms,Holborn, London.

It is on the market for £160,000.
