Cadillac’s driver line-up backed to succeed by Sky F1 pundit

Cadillac has announced Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez as their drivers for their debut Formula 1 season in 2026.
The American-owned team opted for experienced drivers, both aged 35, prioritising their expertise over youth or American involvement.
Former F1 racer and Sky Sports pundit Martin Brundle praised Cadillac's decision, emphasising the need for experience and direction in their inaugural year, particularly with new regulations.
Sergio Perez stated his desire to "enjoy the sport" again with Cadillac, viewing it as a comeback after a difficult 2024 season with Red Bull.
Perez aims to help the new project succeed and rediscover his enjoyment of racing.
