Cadbury urgently recalls chocolate with people told not to eat it

Cadbury has issued a huge recall for one of their products.

The chocolate giant has issued an urgent recall for Cadbury Dairy Milk Little Robins.

The robins are being recalled because some packs contain almonds (nuts) which are not mentioned on the label.

Mondelez UK who own Cadbury's are recalling the packs that have been incorrectly packed with Cadbury Dairy Milk Little Robins Daim Chocolate.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts.

The manufacturer has warned that the mistake might not be immediately obvious because both products are wrapped in similar foil.

The batch affected is the CIS3092812 & CIS3092822, the 93g bag, with a best before date of March 31 2020.

Customers are told to return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund, or to contact the Mondelez consumer care line on 0800 818181, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA).

No other Cadbury's products are affected.

Several other products have been recalled in the past week, Harvey Nichols is recalling its own brand Dark Chocolate Gingers because the product contains pistachio nuts which is not mentioned on the label.

The product has been incorrectly packed with Dark Chocolate Pistachios.

Customers who have eaten the product and feel unwell should immediately contact their local health service to seek advice.

Customers with these Millionaire Mallow Bites should return them to store for a full refund.
