Cadbury's World worker shares secret to making the 'best hot chocolate ever'

Hot chocolate is the ultimate winter comfort drink - but it's impossible to match the taste of the ones you get at a cafe.

If it's not too watery, it's lacking that chocolate flavour we've craving.

Well not anymore as Cadbury's employee Chloe Rose has revealed how to recreate the legendary hot chocolate at home - and you don't need instant chocolate powder.

During her time at Cadbury World in Birmingham, Chloe has picked up a trick or two, and she's been kind enough to share them on TikTok.

In a video that has been viewed more than 1.5 million times on the platform, the woman revealed the secret to a tasty hot chocolate is to use melted chocolate buttons.

Chloe says you need to use Cadbury's Buttons (TikTok / chlooooay)

"I work at Cadbury's World and this is how we make the pengest hot chocolate," she wrote. "Use buttons melted with hot water instead of powder."

She can be seen putting eight chocolate buttons into a mug before adding a splash of boiling water and mixing thoroughly until it has formed a paste.

She swears by the method (TikTok / chlooooay)

Then she warmed up some milk and poured it on top of the chocolate.

She added: "Mix well. [Add] whipped cream and a Flake on top with chocolate dusting to finish."

Since being posted, the video has received more than 140,000 likes and 1400 comments from thankful hot chocolate lovers.

One said: "I am definitely going to make hot chocolate like this from now on."

Another said: "Okay I'm craving this now", while another said: "This would give me the sugar rush shakes."

But a few people were confused as to why people use boiling water instead of milk, as one said: "Wait hold up people actually use water imma head out rn I -".
