We may still be in the middle of a summer heatwave, but Cadbury's has revealed a brand new dairy milk bar for Christmas - and shoppers can't stop making the same joke.
The iconic confectionary giant is usually a hit with chocolate lovers during the festive period, but their brand new outing has been labelled as "the most depressing thing this year."
The new chocolate bar in question is a Dairy Milk Advent Calendar Bar that is set to be an interesting alternative to the traditional advent calendar. Like the name suggests, chocolate fans are challenged to make the whole bar last the full month of December by just eating one small piece of chocolate a day.
Naturally, everyone pretty much unanimously agreed that they would need one bar per day as they don't have a "good enough level of control" when it comes to chocolate.
Foodie Facebook page Newfoodsuk sent shoppers into a spin when they announced the new bar with a post that read: "New Cadbury Dairy Milk Advent Bar.
"Now this will be such a challenge to eat only one chunk a day in December. In fact, I don’t think it will last until September to be honest.
"Tag someone who could do this 1 chunk a day challenge. We got this online at Cadbury Gifts Direct, guessing it will be in supermarkets soon".
The post was quickly met with a sceptical response from chocolate lovers who all joked that they would "need to buy 25 bars" to satisfy their sweet tooth during the festive period.
"Ridiculous... can I just buy 25 bars? Asking for a friend", joked one shopper.
"I would have to buy 25 and eat one a day. No chance would I make one bar last that long", agreed a second.
"Like everyone else on here, it would have to be 1 BAR a day, no way would a piece be enough!", commented a third.
A fourth joked: "I could maybe make it stretch to 24 minutes?!"
A fifth quipped wrote: "I'd have to buy 24 bars.. lol...One per day"
While a sixth said: "Bold of you to assume I have a good enough level of control to actually do this"
