Cadbury's confirms it is about to launch a Caramilk Twirl

Cadbury's has confirmed it is to launch a new caramel version of the popular Twirl double chocolate bars - with the item hitting the shelves some time next year.

The chocolate will be made with Caramilk, a popular white chocolate and caramel blend which has been sold in Australia and New Zealand and recently made a come back.

UK buyers have only been able to taste Caramilk if they buy it online - meaning a bar would set you back around £7.99.

A picture of the new Caramilk Twirl suddenly appeared on Facebook - and was then just as quickly deleted.

But a Cadbury's spokesman confirmed the Caramilk Twirl will be in shops next year.

Cadbury told  News.com.au : "Cadbury Caramilk fans that are worried about how they might survive until the next batch arrives on shelves in early 2020 can rest a little easier knowing that in the meantime, we’ll be launching a limited edition Caramilk product in a format they’ve never seen before."

It is not yet clear whether the Caramilk Twirl will just be sold in Australia - if so UK consumers will again have to resort to making an onkline pourchase.
