Cadbury's chocolate orange Twirl launches in shops today for 65p

After rumours started surfacing last month, Cadbury has finally announced when it's officially launching a chocolate orange Twirl in the UK - and it hits stores today.

The new edition will feature the same crumbly Flakes, covered in creamy milk chocolate, but with a hint of orange added in to Cadbury's iconic flavour.

Whilst Cadbury confirmed that the RRP of the exciting new chocolate is just 65p, retailers are able to set their own prices, with Asda , Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsbury's all currently selling it for between 55p and 60p.

It's the same 43g and two-finger size as the standard milk chocolate flavour, but sadly, is only limited edition, meaning you'll need to get yours sooner rather than later if you don't want to risk missing out.

Already a thing in Australia, there's no word on whether Cadbury has used the same recipe for the chocolate bar's British appearance, but we have tasted the bar and can confirm: it's just as beautiful as we expected.

Crumbly milk chocolate with that distinct festive orange flavour, we're hoping Cadbury will keep it around full-term, after an overwhelming response from chocolate fans when they first heard rumours of its arrival.

At the time it said in a statement: "We knew it would be difficult to keep the news of the limited edition Cadbury Twirl Orange under wraps as people would be as excited about the product as we are.”
