Cadbury launches Creme Egg cake bars - but you can only buy them in one supermarket

Supermarkets are gearing up for Easter despite it still being three months away.

The likes of Tesco, Co-Op and Sainsbury's are already selling chocolate eggs and hot cross buns.

And Cadbury's Creme Eggs have been on sale since the first week of January.

It's a chocoholic's dream come true - and it's about to get even better. . .

From today (January 7), Iceland is selling Creme Egg cake bars, for £2 (six in a pack).

Iceland says: "We’re not  yolking , the yummy cakes bring the famous Creme Egg flavour in a soft and pillowy bar – perfect for getting stuck into for an early Easter fix now Christmas is over."

The yummy bars are made with Cadbury milk chocolate, a gooey fondant centre, and a soft chocolate sponge.

Elsewhere, supermarkets are selling Creme Egg trifle. The Layers of Joy trifle is made with Cadbury milk chocolate, chocolate mousse, chocolate chip cookies, fondant and a creamy topping.

You can buy a tub from selected supermarkets, including Asda and Tesco.
