Cadbury divides shoppers with controversial new Father's Day chocolate bars

British chocolatier Cadbury is renowned for its large selection of sweet treats and confectionary.

From Spira bars to Dairy Milk, everyone has their favourite Cadbury bar they're willing to back.

But the chocolatier's newest chocolate bars are the most controversial yet, and they're bound to divide shoppers.

In time for Father’s Day, Cadbury has released its newest ‘line-up’ of limited-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk Club Bars, in partnership with nine Premier League and EFL Championship League football clubs.

The limited-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk Club Bars contain the delicious Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate we know, and love packaged in its own unique ‘kit’ inspired by the iconic logos, kits and stadiums for each of the clubs.

The bars come in nine different packaging designs for: Arsenal FC, Aston Villa FC, Birmingham City FC, Chelsea FC, Liverpool FC, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, West Bromwich Albion FC and Wolverhampton Wanderers FC fans to tuck into before the next season begins.

The bars were posted on the NewFoodsUK Facebook page, where they quickly divided shoppers.

"There’s a wolves but no Leeds. Wow. Just wow," said one person.

Another wrote: "There’s a wolves but no Leeds. Wow. Just wow."

"I need one to keep," wrote a third.

A fourth person said: "What ya gonna do keep the wrapper after eating it?"

You can buy your team's bar for £6 on the CadburyGifts website now.
