Cadbury Creme Egg ice cream to hit shelves just in time for Easter - here's where you can buy it

Forget chocolate eggs, the ultimate Easter treat for Creme Egg fans is about to hit the shelves - here's everything you need to know.

The limited edition Creme Egg flavoured ice cream will soon be available to buy, made from a winning combination of vanilla ice cream, chocolate pieces and swirls of Creme Egg sauce.

Cadbury have also released Creme Egg ice cream sticks. Filled with an orange fondant centre, they are covered in milk chocolate and are available to buy in packs of three.

Where to buy them?

Both the 480g tubs of Cadbury Creme Egg ice cream and the ice cream sticks will be available to buy from Lidl for a bargain price of £1.99  from Thursday, March 12 - one month before Easter Sunday.

Tesco will also be selling the 480g tubs but will hike up the price to £3.50.

Meanwhile, Asda customers can get the same two products for £2 per item - plus an additional Cornetto-inspired individual ice creams, reports Manchester Evening News.

You can also pick up the Cadbury Creme Egg flavoured products at Morrisons for £3 each, or Iceland for £2 per item.
