Cadbury confirms retro goods from the 80s and 90s returning to supermarkets

For lovers of all things chocolate, Cadbury is up there as one of the most popular brands.

However its popularity means that for many fans, it can be a major disappointment when Cadbury discontinues a well-loved product such as the Spira bar.

Once in a blue moon, the chocolate giant brings back a discontinued product from the past, allowing shoppers to indulge in a little bit of nostalgia.

According to Manchester Evening News, Cadbury has now confirmed that one of its most popular Christmas chocolates is making a return to supermarket shelves - yay!

Mondelez has confirmed it will bring back Cadbury Puds chocolates for Christmas 2021.

Cadbury Puds, which have not been seen since 2003, are one of Cadbury's seasonal offerings which are set to get everybody feeling nostalgic.

Cadbury will also launch a new Winter Orange flavour for Dairy Milk, the chocolate giant, based in Bournville, confirmed.

The Puds will be priced at 60p.

The Dairy Milk Advent calendar, meanwhile, has been revamped for this year.

This year, it includes exciting new moulds - and Cadbury is also offering a make your own advent calendar, too.

A new limited edition Roses tin, in partnership with Cath Kidston, has also been confirmed.

The range would “help retailers make it a year to remember for their shoppers, by building cherished memories and lifelong rituals”, said Mondelez.

In recent months, speculation surfaced around the Puds returning.

On the food blog Snack News & Reviews, it has been claimed Cadbury Puds are returning.

And that caused a great deal of excitement among fans of the treats, with one taking to Facebook to confirm: "Exciting!"

"OMG I hope so," added a second eager Cadbury fan in the comments section as news stories reported its potential return to shelves.
