C.J. Prosise spent Valentine’s Day at Mary’s Emergency Family Shelter

Unlike quarterback Russell Wilson, who dedicated Valentine’s Day to adoring his wife Ciara, Seattle Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise had other plans. Prosise spent the day at Mary’s Emergency Family Shelter helping those in need.

Mary’s Place Family Centers offer shelter for families with children at night as well as housing, employment, and wellness resources. Local service providers also offer their assistance to the families on site.

Prosise was on location Thursday to hand out food and gifts to the children and mingle with the 48 residents currently living at Mary’s Place.

Here’s a look at Prosise in action – photo credit to Truong Nguyen and the Seahawks for capturing the moments.

Prosise, who has been active in the community, most recently hosted the BeProsise Thanksgiving Takeover Youth Event at the Southwest Boys & Girls Club in Seattle in November.
