C.J. McCollum calls out Skip Bayless for his constant Kawhi Leonard hatred

When Fox Sports personality Skip Bayless chooses a player to criticize, he will hold that grudge for years and trash that player for anything. He’s spent an entire decade irrationally blasting LeBron James, and Kawhi Leonard has become Bayless’ latest target.

See — Bayless was particularly upset about Leonard’s bitter divorce with the San Antonio Spurs. So while Leonard has been phenomenal all season (and playoffs) with Toronto, Bayless reacted to the Raptors reaching their first NBA Finals in team history by taking a strange shot at Leonard.

The tired tweet was so forced that Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum chimed in to tell Bayless to give up with the incessant Kawhi hate.

“Give it a rest skip.”

THANK YOU, C.J.

And McCollum’s response wasn’t just referring to that single tweet — Bayless has been doing this for a year. Like, this isn’t healthy behavior:

He eventually stopped calling Kawhi by his name — settling on “No. 2” instead — because Bayless’ pettiness knows no bounds.

And this was just a bit off …

Despite McCollum’s best efforts to get Bayless to stop tweeting, he went on to tweet the same Kawhi criticism that he’s been tweeting for the past year.

But hey, at least he tried.
