What’s Going To Happen
BYU is scrapping.
It can’t seem to put together any sort of a consistent run, but it’s won two straight and has Idaho State and UMass up next to fatten up the win total.
The defense has been strangely bad at odd times, it doesn’t have a pass rush, and it’s not any good against the run, but it’s coming up with a whole slew of takeaways.
Liberty needs one more win to become bowl eligible – it has two wins over FCS teams – and it has the offense to give the Cougars a nice push.
The Flames are hit or miss. They destroy the awful teams, and can’t do much against the FBS teams on the slate. They haven’t played the same game twice – they’ve experienced a little bit of everything.
The offensive front isn’t going to generate enough of a shove to take advantage of the leaky BYU run D, and Baylor Romney – who’s expected to play with other Cougar QB options banged up – about to have a second straight strong performance after carving up Utah State.
