BYU QB Zach Wilson will attend NFL draft

Zach Wilson will be in attendance at next week’s NFL draft, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The expected No. 2 pick will be in Cleveland and will be among the players who walk across the stage, shake hands and pose with commissioner Roger Goodell. Trevor Lawrence has already declined an invitation, meaning that if the Jets select Wilson, he’ll be the first player to walk across the stage.

All signs point to Wilson ending up in green and white by the conclusion of next Thursday night, but nothing is official until the pick is made.

Other notable players who will attend the draft include Alabama quarterback Mac Jones, North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance, Florida tight end Kyle Pitts, Alabama wide receiver Devonta Smith and LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.
