Bystanders just looked on as a young girl was violently hit in the head and stamped on by two youths in broad daylight in east London.
The horrifying footage - seemingly filmed on a mobile phone - shows two females sitting on a bench in Bethnal Green when one male throws a blow to the hooded girl’s head.
A group of young males loiter nearby and all turn to watch as the aggressor continues. None of them intervene.
After punching and kicking the girl in the face a second male joins in by lunging at the girls head and dragging her to the ground.
He then repeatedly stamps on her head as the others watch on.
At this point the girl’s friend stands up to the yobs and has a heated argument before the 10 youths run away.

The abhorrent video has enraged social media users who raised concerns over the wellbeing of the victim, who continues to lie on the ground and not move.
One person wrote: “I hope the person attacked lying on the floor, not moving is actually okay?
“What actually is the matter with people?”
The horrific video follows the launch of Western Europe’s first national gang research centre launched in London earlier this month.

The centre plans to study youth violence on the UK’s streets and its causes to inform the discussion on how to tackle the problem.
Knife crime in London reached a record high with over 15,000 offences in a year, according to the Office for National Statistics.
In October, the London Metropolitan Police reported 23 harassment cases, that is, when a persistent threatening or abusive behaviour is directed at a person, and 22 assaults without injury, in Bethnal Green.
Metropolitan Police have been contacted for comment.
