'Come together' is the theme of a huge New Year's Eve party being planned for the banks of the Tyne which will feature music, street food, cocktails and beer and take full advantage of the midnight fireworks display.
By The River Brew Co. in Gateshead will be going all-out with a December 31 bash lasting from 7pm until 1.30am and its riverside location means it is ideally placed for views of the recently-announced pyrotechnics which are making a Quayside return.
The theme of the container village set-up's third New Year party applies to both the coming together again of customers - following the cancellation of last year's celebrations due to the pandemic - and of its own on-site venues.
The 18-plus party will involve the full site, incorporating By The River's Tap Room; Trakol restaurant; the Backyard Bike Shop and the adjacent HWKRMRKT traders.
In a Facebook post it said: "We come together to celebrate New Year’s Eve in fine style on the south bank of the Tyne."
Tickets for Come Together lll - A New Year's Eve Celebration are on sale now, for £15 plus £1.50 fees, and on the night partygoers will have access to a heated marquee; street food stalls - with a range of extra traders still to be announced - and a 'gin palace' while other drink options will include, it says, 'super fresh beers and cracking cocktails'.
There will be entertainment from party DJs throughout the night and doors will open at 7pm.
