Just like Stack on the Newcastle side of the river, By The River Brew has established itself as massively popular calling point for both locals and visitors to Tyneside.
And, while one of its most popular attractions is taking a break as we head closer to Christmas , the By the River team have announced some exciting plans for the festive season.
The shipping container development on the banks of the River Tyne in Gateshead has proved to be a huge success since opening to the public last summer with its HWKRMRKT offering plenty of food for thought.
Just as it did last year, the market will take a break over the winter but there will be a few other things to look forward to as we hurtle towards the end of the year.
Revealing all, By The River Brew write "The HWKRMRKT will head into it's winter break at the end of this month however fear not as we will be running a brand new WNTRMRKT at the Swing Bridge end of the site with a whole host of your favourite street food traders in attendance every weekend."

And that's not all as this year By The River Brew are also introduce our Alpine Lodge - a cosy space in which you can enjoy your streetfood and drinks.
The Lodge will also be available for private parties Monday to Thursday if you are looking for somewhere special for an office party.
