Ayrshire hospitality giant Buzzworks has announced the temporary closure of one of its venues following Covid cases among staff.
Bosses said this morning they had taken the "voluntary decision" to close The Long House in Kilmarnock for a short period.
It follows a "small number" of their team testing positive for the virus.
A statement read: "We are so sorry to have to announce that following a small number of our team testing positive for Covid, we have taken the voluntary decision to close the restaurant for a short period as a precautionary measure.

"The safety of our people and customers is our top priority and we are working closely with Health Protection Scotland and the Scottish Test and Protect scheme.
"We will be reaching out to anyone with a booking in the next couple of days to reschedule.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to welcome you back soon."
