'Buy Havertz with the money!' - Chelsea fans react to shock Cristiano Ronaldo transfer report

Chelsea are plotting a shock move for Cristiano Ronaldo, according to multiple reports.

Now in his second season at Juventus after a hugely successful time at Real Madrid, it is reported that the Blues are ready to launch a €120million (£107m) move to sign the Portuguese star.

Netting 28 goals in his first season in Turin, the 35-year-old looks on course to beat his previous total as he already has 25 to his name this campaign.

The ex-Manchester United man would guarantee goals but it would be a major shock if Lampard and Chelsea elected to move for him given his age and the amount it would cost to sign him.

Chelsea fans shouldn't worry about Timo Werner transfer

The Blues have already moved quickly to strengthen ahead of next season with Ajax ace Hakim Ziyech signing on the dotted line back in February.

Timo Wener looks set to be the next player to follow as Lampard looks to add a proven goalscorer to his squad.

Tammy Abraham has done incredibly well in his breakthrough season at Stamford Bridge but Werner, who was tipped to join Liverpool, could be the man to take the team to the next level.

Chelsea have also been linked with a big-money move for fellow Bundesliga star Kai Havertz after the youngster's starring role for Bayer Leverkusen.

Amid talk of Wener, Havertz and Ben Chilwell joining the club, it's hard to see how the Europa League holders would finance a move for Ronaldo.

Talk of the attacker has got Chelsea fans talking and many have made their feelings perfectly clear on Twitter.

It's not the first time Ronaldo has been linked with a move away from Turin since his big-money move to the Italian giants in 2018.

Amid murmurings of a stunning return to the Santiago Bernabeu, he has also been mentioned in regards to a move across the pond to join an MLS team.

David Beckham's Inter Miami side have been tipped to sign him if he does eventually decide to head stateside.
