HYDERABAD: Huzurabad BJP MLA Eatala Rajender on Friday demanded chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao either resign or procure paddy from farmers.
“Due to the CM’s irresponsible stand on paddy procurement farmers in the state have suffered greatly. Punjab has wheat as a second crop and Telangana paddy, but CM is attempting to mislead farmers in the state,” Eatala said.
He said farmers are hoping paddy would be bought and urged CM to keep his word that every grain will be bought by the state. “Many poultry farmers are also facing problems,” he said, slamming rise in power charges.
