John Lewis finally released this year's Christmas advert this morning and fans are thrilled by it's lovable star Edgar the dragon .
The advert sees the adorable firebreathing creature go through a series of mishaps, including accidentally melting an ice rink, reducing a snowman to a puddle and setting fire to a Christmas tree as his anxious friend Ava looks on.
Priced at £15 the toy is available at John Lewis stores and online, there is even a full range dedicated to Edgar and his story of true friendship.
As this year marks the first time John Lewis has involved its partner brand Waitrose in its advert it means there is also a whole food range available too.
Waitrose customers can shop:

- Gingerbread biscuit for £1.50
The advert sees Edgar shutting himself away in despair, but Ava encourages him to rejoin the village with the gift of a Christmas pudding, which allows him to put his fire to perfect use.
Titled 'Excitable Edgar' this year's advert includes a version of the song 'Can't Fight This Feeling' by REO Speedwagon. It is sung by Dan Smith from the band Bastille.
