MANILA, Philippines – Former Star Magic teen actress Angela Garcia Bobis, also known as Angela Zamora, was busted during a drug buy-bust operation in Bacoor, Cavite according to an ABS-CBN News report on Monday, July 15.
Bacoor City Police Station's Lt. Col. Vicente Cabatingan said that Zamora's live-in partner Vladimir Bersana was the first to be arrested, after which he revealed the involvement of companions, namely Zamora, Loro Lopez, Christian Lawrence Macanlalay, and Jovencio Isler. Bersana also disclosed their location.
Police seized 10.08 grams of shabu amounting to over P68,000.
Bobis' mugshot, however, shows she was booked on July 11.
The 5 suspects, who are currently detained at the Bacoor City Detention Center, face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Zamora's showbiz career began in 1997 as a part of ABS-CBN’s Star Circle Batch 5. She had starring roles in films Gangland, Ang Lahat ng Ito ay Para Sa’yo, and Nagbibinata in 1998. – Rappler.com
