Butlin's is offering to pay someone £1,000 to take family to resort THREE times in 2022

Butlin’s are looking to recruit a family of 'Funbassadors' - and they're even ready to pay you £1,000 to test drive what the iconic holiday firm say will be three action-packed stays at their resorts.

The company says the attractive new role will be crammed with perks including a trio of all-expenses-paid holidays.

All you have to do is sample the facilities, judge what works and what doesn't and report your findings back to park bosses.

The recruits will have a fun to-do list - including rating the huge splashworld swimming pool and trying out the funfair rides.

They will also be sitting front row at some of Butlin’s big live shows, watching the likes of Diversity, Fleur East and Stephen Mulhern take to the stage.

Butlin’s say they identified the need for the Funbassadors role following recent research which revealed that the average child aged 6-13 wants double the amount of quality time with their parents.

Mike Godolphin, entertainment director at the park operator, said: “Butlin’s prides itself on being the home of entertainment, with great value breaks that are perfect for all the family.

“We’re excited to welcome our Funbassadors to the team. They’ll have an amazing time experiencing all of our resorts’ endless family-friendly fun – whilst getting paid for it!”

You have until January 31 to put yourself forward, with applications applications available via their website.

The job offer is open to families consisting of up to two adults and between one and four children aged up to 13.

Emma Kenny, a psychologist working with Butlins, added: “During the day-to-day, we quite easily slip into routines and forget to make space for that quality family time together.

"A break away, whether it’s midweek or weekend, is a great opportunity to switch off and engage in fun activities with your kids, and Butlin’s is the ultimate destination for that.

“The findings show two thirds of children claim their parents are preoccupied with work, with 30 percent of them constantly distracted by their phones.

"Getting away to a resort like Butlin’s is the perfect antidote to bring the family back together.”
