Butler scores 14 in fourth quarter to lift Bulls over short-handed Cavs, 106-94

CLEVELAND _ Dwyane Wade returned Wednesday night from missing one game with a swollen left knee.

His buddy, LeBron James, fought off the flu to face him.

Otherwise for the Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving missed his third straight game with a sore hamstring, while Kevin Love sat for the second straight time following food poisoning.

The Bulls took advantage of the depleted crew, prevailing, 106-94, as Jimmy Butler came up big when it counted.

Butler scored 14 of his 20 points in the final period, shaking off a 2-for-11 start. The Bulls placed six in double figures, including Taj Gibson, who scored 18 points on 9-for-10 shooting.

The Bulls trailed 15-2 early but rallied to lead by as many as 17.

James finished with 31 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

A flu bug is sweeping through the Cavaliers. James skipped the morning shootaround and took until minutes before tipoff to determine whether he was playing. Channing Frye also played with the illness.
