Police have closed a road in Manchester after a car flipped onto its roof following a crash.
Charlestown Road, Blackley, has been closed in both directions just outside the Charlestown Pub since just after 2pm this afternoon.
Nearby residents reported hearing a "huge bang", before looking out their windows to see a silver Volkswagen Golf on its roof, with glass scattered across the road.

At the scene, police officers were searching through the car, leafing through documentation and searching items of clothing found in the back seats and boot of the vehicle.
A small amount of blood could be seen inside the car, with rubbish and personal belongings scattered across the roof of the cabin.
The Manchester Evening News understands there were no injured persons at the scene when police arrived.
One neighbour said: "I didn't see anything but I heard this almighty bang and when I saw the car I came out to have a look.
"It took police quite a while to get here, I think it was about 30 minutes later before they arrived.
"I'm sure they're busy enough without needing to come out to another crash because someone's not taken enough care."
There were no obvious marks on the car to indicate another vehicle had been involved in the collision.
A van parked close to the incident had received some damage to the front wheel closest to the road, with flecks of silver paint left on the damaged wheel arch.
It is not yet known how the collision occurred, but the incident has reignited some residents' pleas for traffic calming measures to be put in place on the street to prevent some collisions.
Another neighbour stepped outside to take a picture of the crash just before 2.15pm, to send the photo to one of her local councillors to highlight the need for action on the road.
She said: "This is a really bad road for it, there's always people driving really fast up here with no care because they don't live here.
"There's a lot of crashes on this road, we had a fatality recently when an elderly gentleman was knocked down just up there.
"It's a very busy road too, there's two schools, the pub, a clinic, there's lots of people walking down here, something needs to be done."
