Busy night for Dublin Fire Brigade with multiple crashes reported

It was a busy night for the Dublin Fire Brigade with multiple incidents being reported across the capital on Wednesday.

This image shows the grisly aftermath of a collision that happened last night.

Firefighters from Dolphins Bars, who were alerted to the scene, found the smashed remains of a car that had crashed into a barrier.

An emergency tender, which is a specialist rescue appliance, was used at the scene.

Additionally, the DFB crew also responded to a two-car collision on the M50 last night.

The incident happened on the M50 southbound between J5 and J6.

Traffic restrictions were in place while emergency services waited for recovery.
