Busy Manchester junction closed with warning of delays

Police closed the junction of Moss Lane East and Princess Road after an incident at around 2.30am.

There were warnings there could be delays into the morning, but the road reopened at 4am.

Transport for Greater Manchester said: "Due to a police incident, the junction of Princess Road and Moss Lane East is blocked.

"Local Stagecoach Greater Manchester services may be affected in the morning."

They added: "Use an alternative route. Delays expected in the area."

Traffic service Inrix reports "A5103 Princess Road in both directions closed due to police incident from Greenheys Lane to Raby Street.

"Moss Lane is also closed."
