Busy Hucknall road to close for 10 weeks for resurfacing work

A road in Hucknall is set to close for 10 weeks so carriageway resurfacing work can take place.

Albert Street will be shut between its junctions with High Street and Torkard Way.

The closure will be in place from 9am on Monday, November 22, through to 3.30pm on Sunday, February 6.

This is necessary so work can take place to widen a footway and allow for carriageway resurfacing.

Block paving work will also be carried out.

The programme will be led by Via East Midlands on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council.

Drivers have been warned that no alternative routes are available.
