Busted confirm comeback with reunion tour 20 years after pop rockers topped the charts

Busted have confirmed they are reuniting for a 15-show tour and a new album after teasing fans with a cryptic message.

Air Hostess singers Matt Willis, 39, Charlie Simpson, 37, and James Bourne, 39, have delighted fans as they get the band back together for their 20th anniversary.

Starting in September this year, the band will be embarking on a reunion tour around the UK.

Busted will also release an album of new versions of their iconic songs and will feature other 2000s bands All Time Low and McFly.

Fans don't need to wait a long time as tickets for the tour are going on sale at 9am on March 31.

"It's out of this world that we get to do this and we couldn't be more excited about it. It's going to be wicked," James said.

Matt added to The Sun : "Now it feels like it's meant to feel. It's like the very beginning all over again. Right now it feels like it's barely even begun."

Earlier this week, Busted excited fans after teasing a reunion with a cryptic post on Instagram.

They posted about a possible comeback with an announcement on Thursday (March 23).

They shared a video on social media which hints at celebrations to mark their 20th anniversary, with them having released their debut single and album back in 2002.

The footage shows a VHS cassette tape being inserted into a retro TV unit. There's briefly some static before the band's logo appears on the screen as the video comes to a close.
