Businesses burglarized on SW Side: police

At least 12 businesses have been burglarized since Dec. 20 in neighborhoods across the Southwest Side.

The businesses targeted were in Chicago Lawn, Gage Park, McKinley Park, West Lawn, Garfield Ridge and Ashburn, according to Chicago police. In each incident, someone broke in through the front and stole property from inside.

The burglaries happened in the morning and evening hours between Dec. 20 and January 5 in:

· The 6000 block of South Kedzie Avenue;

· The 5800 block of South Kedzie Avenue;

· The 7500 block of South Kedzie Avenue;

· The 5100 block of South Archer Avenue;

· The 5000 block of South Archer Avenue;

· The 6600 block of South Pulaski Road;

· The 6600 block of West Archer Avenue;

· The 6100 block of West Archer Avenue;

· The 7000 block of South Pulaski Road;

· The 6700 block of South Pulaski Road;

· The 8300 block of South Kedzie Avenue; and

· The 3700 block of West 79th Street.

Police did not provide a description of any suspects.
