Chicago police are warning businesses on the Near West Side and Lower West Side about a series of commercial burglaries reported in October.
In each incident, a man in his 40s pried open the front door of a store and stole property from inside, Chicago police said.
The burglaries happened:
· About 3:25 a.m. Oct. 3 in the 1900 block of South Canalport Avenue;
· About 7:10 a.m. Oct. 19 in the 1600 block of West Hubbard Street; and
· Between 6 p.m. Oct. 28 and 9:30 a.m. Oct. 29 in the 900 block of West Van Buren Street.
