Chicago police are warning business owners in West Pullman about a string of recent burglaries in the Far South Side neighborhood.

In each incident, someone broke through a front door or window and made off with cash, credit cards and electronic equipment, Chicago police said.

The four burglaries happened in the morning hours between Jan. 26 and Feb. 7 on Halsted Street between 116th and 122nd streets, police said.

Police described the suspect as a 5-foot-10 man thought to be about 50 years old, weighing about 170 pounds and wearing a black skull cap, an orange jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Two detectives at 312-747-8273.
