Brief business travel between Japan, Singapore OK from Sept. 18
Short-term business trips between Japan and Singapore are scheduled to resume under certain conditions beginning Sept. 18, Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi said at a press conference Friday. It will be the first time that Japan will resume international short-term business trips since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
Those entering the country will be exempt from the typical 14-day quarantine period on the condition that they stay in their pre-registered accommodation. PCR tests will also be required before leaving Singapore and upon arrival in Japan.
