Business patrons backing ProCon Leicestershire in 2023

Some 21 business patrons are backing the ProCon Leicestershire network of property and construction professionals and firms in 2023.

Their support will enable ProCon to connect its members via events and online and offline networking.

The first event took place last week at the University of Leicester’s Freemens Village development.

Three new patrons have joined the ranks of firms supporting the activities of ProCon Leicestershire for the year – CPW, GSSArchitecture and Keepmoat Homes.

Five of the 2023 Patrons were amongst the very first Patrons back in 2015: Berkeley Insurance Group, Corporate Architecture, Diamond Wood and Shaw, MDA Consulting and Willmott Dixon Construction.

Anna McTaggart, partner at GSSArchitecture, said: “We are always looking at building relationships with other industry professionals to collaborate with and share knowledge.

“Becoming a Patron at ProCon will allow us to do this effectively with like-minded businesses in the industry. We are keen to see where these relationships take us in the future and how we can help connect and support Leicestershire's property and construction industry.”

Keepmoat Homes regional managing director Tristin Willis said: “It’s fantastic to be involved as a Patron for ProCon.

“Our partnerships allow for us to build new communities in areas where homes are desperately required. Our Waterside development in Leicester is a key part of the regeneration of the local area.”

Carl Humpage, director of CPW, said: “Having been in the region for 20 years now, CPW are delighted to be a patron of ProCon, a network that’s passionate about building better for the East Midlands.

“For CPW, this means prioritising sustainable design across all sectors in the region, from healthcare and education to commercial and industrial, by working together with like-minded colleagues from across the construction industry to achieve our zero carbon ambitions.”

As well as enabling events to take place, the Patrons’ support also helps sustain ProCon’s website which provides a platform for 600-plus individual members and firms to connect with each other and to share news and views.

ProCon chair Umesh Desai said: “Our thanks go to all 21 businesses for showing their support as we enjoy a year of events and building connections across our industry.”
