Business Gateway West Lothian has launched an expert help programme and a series of free workshops.
Businesses which are eligible for the expert help programme can get fully or partially funded consultancy support from a specialist in areas including exporting, digital marketing, HR and leadership development.
The new programme is in addition to the free support businesses can currently access, such as one-to-one support from professional adviserson finding premises, staff or funding and hosting networking events.
Business Gateway is also holding a series of free half-day workshops, starting on August 21.
These are limited to West Lothian businesses and include sessions on employment law, smartphone video production and getting ready for investment.
Cathy Muldoon, executive councillor for development and transport, said: “I welcome the launch of the expert help programme.
“The support provided will help local firms to become more competitive, grow sales and create capacity for more jobs.”
Business Gateway West Lothian provides support and guidance to new and existing businesses, including confidential advice to help start-ups and businesses planning to expand.
Free resources include workshops and seminars covering everything from marketing and finance to HR and ecommerce.
