Shawbrook Bank has launched a new savings operation in Scotland to support retail and business customers.
It is recruiting a commercial director to head the service along with six staff who will join the existing team of 60 at Shawbrook's Glasgow office. The bank already has operations, payments, IT and marketing teams there.
Shawbrook recently announced plans for an enhanced business savings offering, which will consist of new product launches and increases to existing rates. It has a retail and business savings team at offices in London and Brentwood, Essex.

The quality of financial services professionals across Scotland is very high and we’ve been able to build a well skilled, experienced team to support our Scottish‐based customers.
“This new savings division represents the next step in our evolution in Scotland and we are eager to find the country’s best talent to help drive our savings operation forward. Once on board we look forward to welcoming those individuals and integrating them into the existing team.”
