
Police are warning North Side business owners in Edgewater and West Rogers Park after three burglaries were reported this month.
In each case, the suspect shattered the front door glass window and stole property before fleeing the scene, according to Police
The incidents occurred:
• Between 3:55 a.m. and 4:02 a.m. Oct. 17 on the 2200 block of West Devon Avenue;
• About 3:26 a.m. Oct. 22 on the 6000 block of North Broadway Avenue, and
• About 4:13 a.m. Oct. 22 on the 1300 block of West Hollywood Avenue.
The suspects in the first burglary were described as male approximately 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-11, about 160 to 180 pounds wearing masks and hooded sweatshirt, fleeing in a black sedan, police said.
In the other two incidents, police described said the suspects were hooded and fled in a red Ford Explorer.
