State Council approves employment plan

Premier Li Qiang chaired a State Council executive meeting Friday to review employment work and approve the 15th Five-Year Plan for the implementation of the employment-first strategy.

The meeting also discussed efforts to advance new industrialization and develop future industries.

Dreame reportedly under government inspection

In response to rumors that a district in the Yangtze River Delta region is requiring firms to report their partnerships with Dreame Technology, a company insider reportedly said it is a routine local government inspection. Dreame did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Weibo account of Dreame CEO Yu Hao was banned Friday from posting.

China’s services trade grew 4.9% year-on-year to 2.48 trillion yuan in the first four months of the year, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
