A body has been recovered from a river following a search.
The man, who is understood to have been fishing before he disappeared, was taken from the River Bush outside Stranocum, Co Antrim , on Tuesday morning.
A PSNI spokesman said: “Police are investigating the sudden death of a man whose body was found in a river in the Stranocum area on Tuesday morning.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage and a post-mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of death.”
The Community Rescue Service (CRS) were involved in the search and assisted with the recovery of the body from the river.
